You want to make sure that the ingredients are not fillers or by-products or any other ingredients that are more harmful to your cat. You want to be sure that it is real meat and fish listed. No artificial additives or dyes and be very aware of the way that grain substitutions are made. A high-quality brand will not have any substitutions made it will be grain free cat food.
